Beginning of Soperstuff

In the beggining is the Soperstuff blog which will NOT - I am sure - boldly go where no blog has gone before. Made of the mundane, although sometimes cheeky, dialogue about Sopers. I ponder what the next year will bring - and those after - as we are in transition and now living in a one bedroom apartment ready to begin a new adventure in another state.

We have sold our home of 21 years and are back to the beginning - hmmmm - one bath and one bedroom - but only for a bit over 3 months.

Next adventure is close to the Kansas City area - YEA. Makes this Penguin a very happy Jayhawk fan - I think penguins and jayhawks could be fine together - we shall plan on that. The main reason for the move, however, is great enjoyment of family.

This is a year (one of many, yes yes) of the Final Four for KU. Saturday will tell of the tale of the Jayhawk - hoping for a FINAL chapter of victory on Saturday and again on Monday. Selected sports teams are a fun - albeit intense - diversion, KU Jayhawks, and Denver Broncos - followed by an assortment of college teams - Texas A & M Aggies, NMSU Aggies, UNM Lobos, Lady Vols of Tennessee, Duke basketball and others. Stay tuned or not.
