After the victory

Yep, been basking in the glory of the Kansas Jayhawk national basketball championship. Nine days ago, 4/7/08, THE game was played - that was pretty much - THREE games in one. Close game - an excellent final game for any fan interested in squeakers!
Now on to baseball season...
My family have always been baseball fans - St Louis Cardinals. Of late (since the strike in the 1990s in fact), I have been disgusted with professional baseball, but can't quite kick the habit completely. We have tried to focus more on college baseball and the "bush league" teams (totally UNrelated to our present President!!! - but that's another subject entirely).
Ahh, the inconsistency of being a sports fan, when I know that sports are really NOT the important part of life, but they create a great fellowship of sharing and enthusiasm.
So much for after the victory - braggin' rights for a year.
