Just a quick post to note how nice life has been of late. We spent a wonderful few days with our son, daughter-in-law, and 3 grandchildren in the Dallas area. Getting to babysit for the 3 kiddos was such a privilege, a pleasure, and a blessing. Ages 1,4. and 6 are just fun!
We are settling into our new house and feeling like it is home. It is smaller than our other houses, but just right for the two of us. We are enjoying the "newness" and enjoying making it look like our house. After not having a patio or grill for over a year, sitting on the patio drinking coffee or cooking out in the evening is a renewed and intensified pleasure - we truly appreciate those little things.
Next we are off to a family get together in southern New Mexico and visiting friends along the way there and back. What a pleasure it is to connect with friends and family and to be willing and able to travel. It is not a "fancy" trip, but one that will be enriched by years of memories with friends and family in familiar places.
May the Lord bless this journey and may I serve Him as we travel.

Will your trip to S. New Mexico take you through Amarillo? I'd love to see you if it does. I really miss you and the history we've shared. Even if you could call sometime, I'd could cry some of my "grocery store opening cries" and more. xoxoxo
