Pleasant unexpected remnants of a most welcome visit.
A smell of baby lotion and Dreft as I sit in the recliner - baby Audrey was here!
A bag of chips crammed in the cushions of the couch - Wyatt, the chip raider, was here!
A few tiny dark whiskers in the bathroom sink - our son was here!
One tiny clear yellow Lego in the carpet - Owen must have dropped it.
A fragrance of Amy's lotion or perfume.
A left over Mudslide in the fridge...
Cold medication for kids...
A package of Huggie wipes...
Hummus dip left in the fridge from Kristin.
Small fragments of a warm family time this holiday season. Such remnants bring to mind the multitude of remnants that bring dear friends and extended family to mind. Ahhh - another reflection for another entry.
Welcome to the Penguin's Ponderings
Mostly the meandering thoughts of a plain vanilla recently retired gal that likes to read, travel, and is establishing life now with new rules and a new environment with a trusty spouse that is a best friend as well.
